NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
To all record owners of title or parties in interest in real property in the Township of Cottrellville, St. Clair County, Michigan:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Board of Cottrellville, St. Clair County, Michigan, will hold a public hearing at the Twp. Offices located at 7008 Marsh Road on August 13, 2025 at 7pm to hear objections to the estimated annual redetermination and appropriation of costs of providing police and fire protection as determined by the Township Board, the amount of the special assessment levy and the spread of the levy for police and fire protection.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that appearance and protest at this hearing is required in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment to the State Tax Tribunal if an appeal should be desired. A property owner or party in interest, or his or her agent, may appear in person at the hearing to protest the special assessment or may file his or her protest by letter delivered to the Clerk by 4pm on August 13, 2025, and his or her personal appearance shall not be required. The property owner having an interest in the property subject to the proposed special assessment may file a written appeal of the special assessment with the State Tax Tribunal within thirty (30) days after confirmation of the special assessment roll if that special assessment was protested at this hearing.
